Internet-Is it helpful or harmful?

It worries me for my photos to be taken nowdays
Quite recently videos too
For the internet is being abused in lots of ways
Along with stories that are true and untrue

Busybody me used to log in to some of these sites
Upon hearing rumors about a scandalous celebrity or politician
Now i understand that this isn't right
To seek entertainment over somebody else's humiliation

The way videos and photos are uploaded these days
Portrays the downfall of moral values within our society
Bloggers and photographers who seek fame in such despicable ways
Don't they have any sense of responsibility?

The victims may have been our sister or brother
Don't this question ever bothered them?
We're they not breastfed by a mother?
To disgrace other mothers without any sense of guilt
